Deputy Corbyn was dispatched on a report of a male at the wrong home. The complainant didn't know who the man was and said they found him when they returned home.
The complainant said the man was yelling and asking for help.
When the deputy arrived, the complainant was outside with the male subject. The complainant told the deputy the male was crying and talking about his kids.
Deputy Corbyn approached the male, who was later identified as 31-year-old Matthew David Kofford.
Matthew had bloodshot, glossy eyes and had difficulty maintaining his balance. The deputy found a chair and had Matthew sit down. He told the deputy he had been drinking and knew that he had consumed too much.
Matthew went to spit on the ground and fell out of the chair.
Deputy Corbyn tried to ask Matthew where he lived, where he came from, and who he was with, but he couldn't remember anything.
Matthew Kofford was transported to the Uintah County Jail and booked for intoxication.
