Roosevelt, Ut.- On 7/26/23, Cpl. Barton was dispatched to the Napa Auto Parts store by a complainant saying a male was currently at the store and always has drugs on him, and his son may also be in the vehicle.

The male subject was identified as 36-year-old Corbat Glenn Stubbs.

The warrant was confirmed by dispatch, and Detective Kirkham assisted and was able to locate Corbat leaving Napa in the vehicle that was described to the Officers.

Det. Kirkham performed a traffic stop at 100 North and 300 East, made contact, gathered Corbat's information, and then ran it through dispatch. Cpl. Barton was contacted by Sgt. Harrison and told that Corbat had another protective order violation and needed to be taken into custody.

While speaking with Corbat, he was asked about using illegal drugs due to the information the Officers received. Corbat stated that he didn’t have any.

Cpl. Barton asked to search his truck, and Corbat gave him consent. During the search, the Officer located three meth pipes with a testable amount of meth inside them, marijuana in a plastic container, a marijuana pipe, and a marijuana bong.

Also, during the search, the Officers found a Glock 19 pistol inside the truck. Cpl. Barton took all the items found and secured them in his patrol vehicle.

Corbat was arrested and transported to the Uintah Basin Medical Center ER for medical clearance and later transported to the Duchesne County Jail to be booked on possession of a firearm by a restricted person, possession of drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
