A male kicks down door and assaults a female

The victim of a domestic violence incident told her friend that 29-year-old Brady James Davis had kicked down her door and punched her in the face.
The victim's friend called 9-1-1 and reported what had occurred.
Dispatch informed responding officers that Brady had left the residence in a yellow Chevy Tahoe.
Brady was seen driving East on Main Street when Officer Candelas and Sgt cannon conducted a traffic stop on the Tahoe near 830 East Main Street.
Brady was identified by his Utah driver's license and was asked what had occurred with the female victim.
Brady stated it was only a verbal argument. While the officers spoke with Brady, they could see his knuckles were red. When the officer asked why his knuckles were red, Brady said he was punching his car after the verbal argument.
Officer Candelas went to the residence where the incident occurred to speak with the female.
The officer noticed her eye was bruised and started to swell. The female mentioned that the children she shared with Brady were sleeping inside the residence while the incident occurred in the home's front room. The victim stated she was hit in the face by Brady.
Due to the observations and information provided, Officer Candelas arrested Brady James Davis and booked him into the Uintah County Jail.
Brady James Davis may post bail in the amount of $2,460.00.
