The reporting party stated that 51-year-old Gina Marie Nicholson has been staying in one of the motel rooms, is not allowed to be there, and hasn’t paid for the room.

The reporting party stated that she has been asked to leave but has refused.

Deputy Cox was dispatched to the Hanna Hilton Cafe and Bar at 41025 West SR 35. Upon arrival, he met with the employee. The employee stated that she and the owner had asked Gina to leave.

However, Gina told her that she spoke with the owner, who told her that she could live there for free while she worked and cleaned.

The owner told Deputy Cox that none of that was true and that she was not allowed to be there. He then had the employee walk him up to the room where Gina was supposed to be.

When they got to the room, the bed was used, but Gina was not there. They went to another room that Gina decided to occupy, and the door was locked. Gina was told to open the door.

Gina opened the door and began to speak with the deputy. While talking with Gina, Deputy Cox noticed she seemed to be under the influence of drugs as she was moving around, speaking quickly and slurring, and couldn’t hold the same conversation.

Gina was asked about using drugs, and she told the deputy that she uses drugs all the time.

Deputy Cox told Gina he was there because she was not supposed to be in the hotel. She told him that she had spoken with the owner and had made an agreement, but the deputy told her that was not true.

Another employee stated that Gina showed up about three days ago. Gina told this employee that she spoke with his boss and was now working there and was supposed to be getting a free room. The employee wasn't sure if it was true or not at that time and let her have a room based on what she told him. Deputy Cox was informed that for the three days, Gina had been there, she should have paid a total of $150.

Gina refused to follow Deputy Cox's instructions and leave willingly and was placed under arrest. Gina then admitted to having a pipe and a rock pipe somewhere on her property.

While searching Gina's property, a small pink pipe was found in her purse with a burnt material consistent with marijuana. Also located was a glass pipe hidden in a sock with a burnt crystal material consistent with meth.

Gina was then transported and booked into the Duchesne County Jail for burglary-theft of services as she entered a hotel room under false pretenses with the intent to steal the services and not pay the room fee, intoxication as she appeared to be under the influence of drugs, admitted to the use of drugs.
