A female is assaulted when refusing the demands to give her roommate a ride to the park

A female was woken up by her roommate, 49-year-old David Tell Sharp, demanding a ride to the park.
When she refused, David got on top of her, pinned her arms, put his knees in her chest, restricting her breathing, squeezed her face with his hands, threatened to kill her, and punched the bed next to her head. David fled the residence before police arrived.
Approximately 30 minutes later, David returned to the home, and the female told him she was going to call the police. He took the phone out of her hand and threw it down the hallway, breaking it.
David then pinned her on the bed again, wrapped his hands around her neck, choking her while telling her she had fucked up and he was going to kill her for calling the police. The female told police that David had also picked up her dog by its collar and choked the dog by hanging it next to her.
Police found David hiding in the back bedroom and taken into custody.
Photographs were taken of the female’s injuries that consisted of a bruised arm, bloody lip, and deep red marks on her chest and throat.
