A Female High On Meth Called In For Trespassing

Roosevelt Police responded to a call of trespassing at a residence in Roosevelt. When Officer Bellon arrived, the female ran around to the back porch.
The officer spoke with the female, identified as 41-year-old Terri J. Shon Chapoose, who does have a prior history of drug use, and when asked when the last time she used it was, she told the officer that she had used it the previous day.
The police asked if she had a pipe on her or any drugs, and she said she didn’t. Terri's mannerisms were consistent with that of someone who had used drugs recently. Her hands were constantly moving, either opening and closing shut or movement of the fingers. Her head made a lot of movement as well, with a lot of rolling and nodding.
Terri said that before the police arrived, she had been filming a strange light that she saw in the sky. She said that when she tried to film it, her phone had died.
The officers had Terri go with them to the back of one of the patrol vehicles, and based on how Terri was acting and being confused about using drugs the day before, they asked her to empty her pockets.
While Terri emptied her pockets, she pulled out a small blue plastic bag containing a substance consistent with that of methamphetamine. Along with the plastic baggie, there was a piece of tin foil also containing a substance consistent with methamphetamine.
Terri Chapoose was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Terri was taken to the hospital for a medical clearance and then transported to the Duchesne County Jail.
