A deputy with the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office brought in a female arrestee, 41-year-old April Marie Patrick, into the jail for marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Upon arrival, April was placed in Pre-booking to give the deputy some items she admitted were hers. April removed the items and handed them to the deputy. He advised April that if she had any other illegal items on her, it would enhance the charges as she was in a secured facility.
During the pre-booking process, Deputy Chrismas had Inmate Patrick remove her socks, but she was hesitant. When April removed her socks, a significant amount of white crystallized and green leafy substances fell out.
The pre-booking was finished, and Inmate Patrick was moved to a cell.

Deputies bagged the white crystallized and green leafy substances and took them to the testing lab for testing.
Cpl. Moody, who is a certified drug tester for the Uintah County Sheriff's Office, confirmed positive testing for marijuana on the green leafy substances, and a preliminary test confirmed positive testing for Methamphetamine on the white crystallized substances to the amount of 7.82 grams total.
