A 67-year-old female arrested after probation officer finds psychedelic mushrooms in her residence

At 6:30 PM, Deputy Green was asked to assist AP&P Agents with a compliance check at a residence in Tabiona, Utah. The deputy met the agents at the residence of 67-year-old Jana Lee Westman.
When the deputy arrived he was met by the agents and they directed him to Jana's bedroom, where the agents had located a variety of drug paraphernalia that included various drug pipes and a silicone bong with marijuana, and a colorful substance consistent with psychedelic mushrooms.
The paraphernalia and drug-like substances were collected for evidence and transported Jana to the Duchesne County Jail for intake on new charges.
Deputy Green conducted a criminal history search and discovered that Jana had been convicted on prior felony drug charges on April 14th, 2025.
Due to these discoveries and the information gathered, Jana Westerman is being charged with the following: Possession of a controlled substance, Marijuana/ Spice; Felony 3, Possession of a controlled substance analog 1 Psilocybin; Felony 3, and Possession of a drug paraphernalia.
