20-year-old Male Arrested At The Rodeo For Trying To Buy Alcohol With A Fake ID

Vernal, Ut.—On March 14, 2026, Officer Candelas was patrolling the rodeo at Western Park in Vernal, UT. The bartender serving the alcohol approached the officer and said the male walking away had used a fake ID in an attempt to purchase alcohol.

The officer called out to the male, who turned around and, as he did so, pulled out his wallet and produced a Wyoming Driver's License with the name Easton Yadon Dob (09/26/2003).

Officer Candelas asked Easton why he had been told he was using a fake ID. Easton stated that the Wyoming ID he provided to the officer was the fake one he had tried to use.

Easton clarified that his name was real, but his date of birth was false. He mentioned that he had purchased the ID for $90 online, and gave Officer Candelas his actual date of birth, which is (09/26/2005), making Easton 20 years old. He admitted to drinking alcohol while at the rodeo.

Easton was arrested and booked into the Uintah County Jail.
